Yoga is always something I thought would never be for me, I just didn't have any interest in it and and figured it wasn't worth me trying because I knew I wouldn't like it if I ever did. Oh how wrong I was, I had my first ever yoga experience here at Gilbert Yoga and it was an experience that has truly stuck with me. Not only because of how warm and inviting the class was for a newbie like me who had no idea what they were doing, but also because I had the opportunity have my eyes opened to this art form and truly experience all the benefits it has to offer both the mind and body. I highly recommend anybody who also was very dismissive of yoga like I was to step out of their comfort zone and give it a try. You just might find yourself pleasantly surprised.
I was super nervous about starting yoga. My flexibility can be described as tree like, LOL, meaning I’m extremely inflexible. Heather is an excellent instructor and her classes are perfect for a mixture of beginners and advanced clients. Glad I picked this studio to begin my yoga classes! I also attended Laura’s class and it was excellent! They have a great variety of yoga instructors. Highly recommend this studio!
Naked yoga! Oh my goodness! The only word I can think to use is "Fabulous!" This was the most exhilarating experience that I have had in many years. Even after my long drive home, I was so amped up that I did not sleep but possibly one hour in bits and pieces all night. Every time I woke up, all I could think was "fabulous!" Everyone there was so nice and welcoming, it was a fabulous experience! Anyone who is a naturist, absolutely attend. For anyone considering the lifestyle, this would be a beautiful way to try out the lifestyle. Highly recommend!
Taking this YTT course is and was one of the best things i’ve ever done for myself, it was so much more than i thought it would be (in the best way). There has been a lot of anxiety and doubt inside me, and this Course (taught by Heather🤍) Has given me more confidence, guided me into a different way of being, guided me to more presence, and has improved my life and given me peace. I have learned how to properly sequence a yoga class and the proper alignment of poses. I’ve made friends with some really great people🤍 I’ve proven to myself that I can do things i didn’t think i could do. I’m excited to share my knowledge and love of yoga with the world. I would take the class again, and again. Heather is so knowledgeable in so many different areas, it is such a real gift to have her mentorship, guidance and to be taught by her. I started going to Gilbert Yoga 5 weeks ago since I was about 20 weeks pregnant. Was so glad to find a yoga studio super close to my house who teaches prenatal yoga 🧘🏻♀️ They also have a bike rack right outside of the studio. So I bought a e-bike just to ride to my yoga classes. 😬 Mary, Heather, Amanda and Jen are all amazing teachers! So far I have attended all their classes and loved my experience with all of them! I’ve made going to yoga classes my daily routine and I’ve been feeling great about it. The classes help me to relax, meditate, feeling motivated and finding peace in myself. So far I’m planning to keep attending these yoga classes until the day I give birth. And I know I’m gonna feel much more confident during birth. And probably a faster recovery afterwards too. Thank you, Gilbert Yoga! 🙏🏼
