I couldn’t tell you how easy it’s been working with John for about 4 years now. He is my first CPA and I will keep him as long as he’s in business. I've been working with John & team for two years and am very happy! As a small business owner, John has helped advise on the best way to structure my company, when to consider changing structures etc for tax optimization. He is easy to talk with and answers all questions clearly. His team does all the heavy lifting and keeps you up to date on progress as they prepare filings etc. I've had several accounting services over the years and switched to John after one left me in the lurch right before an annual filing deadline. The Gillingham team expedited my process and get everything taken care of, saving me from a bunch of fees. Have been with them since and would recommend them to other small businesses, sole proprietors etc.

I've been working with John for 3 years now for both proactive tax planning and tax preparation/filing, and it's been a pleasure every year. John is very knowledgable and has a team that is organized and efficient. My wife and I have a somewhat complex tax situation with stock based compensation of multiple varieties as well as a small sole prop business. John has helped us navigate this and optimize our taxes and even consult on things like proactive retirement planning.
