I have 3 dogs, 2 of them are senior dogs and one has a lot of aggressive behaviors and is very anxious, so finding a place for grooming can be hard. Glam pet have shown so much compassion and patience for my fur babies. The do such a great job and are very transparent with prices and by babies always come out looking good and smelling good. Highly recommend
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR GROOMING!! Worse grooming my dog has ever received!!! My dog is 3 years old and I have never received my dog in worse shape after a grooming than I did at Glam Pet Groom!! I am new to this area of San Antonio and was searching for a new groomer when I came across Glam Pet Groom. Upon arriving at the establishment, I noticed a sign that said "No Refunds". I now know that I should've taken this as a HUGE RED FLAG and I regret leaving my dog in their care!! Upon initial arrival we were greeted by Melissa who was very polite and friendly but I had no idea this friendliness was going to be a cover up for the botched grooming job that was done on my dog! About 3 hours after dropping my dog off I received a text that my dog was ready for pick up. Upon returning to the establishment we waited an additional 15 min and then Melissa came out to greet us, WITHOUT my dog. I thought this a little strange but let it go. Melissa then proceeded to tell me that my dog was "wild" and that if I decided to groom her again I should give her a calming treat prior to the appointment. I have a Goldendoodle who I know has a lot of energy and can be excitable so I apologized for her level of energy. Melissa then took my payment of $135 + a 15% tip. Only after I paid did she bring my dog out. Upon first look, the overall grooming was a little rough, but I didn't complain because I know she is a high energy dog. I should have taken a closer look at the overall grooming, but I trusted that my dog would've been cared for. Needless to say, the grooming was AWFUL! Upon arriving at home I had to redo the shaping around her face and trim a lot of missed areas. While doing this I noticed that my dog had been nicked in several places, including next to her right eye!! I also found a huge chunk of fur missing from one of her ears that was covered up! Needless to say, I was furious!! I realize that my dog is a high energy dog and things could happen by accident if she was moving around. What PISSES ME OFF is that Melissa made sure that I paid prior to me even seeing my dog and then she did not disclose any of the nicks or grooming errors!! I would've been more understanding if I was at least told about these problem areas before I left. - I was not offered any kind of apology for hurting my dog. I can only imagine how scared she must've been after getting nicked the first time, especially with a total stranger! - There was no attempt to take responsibility or offer any kind of discount for these egregious mistakes!! - All of which was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and absolutely irresponsible!! I am writing this review in hopes that another dog owner who is contemplating having their dog groomed at Glam Pet Groom, absolutely RECONSIDER AND LOOK DOR A DIFFERENT GROOMER!! I entrusted my dog's well-being and safety with these people and absolutely regret it!!
This is the second time I’ve take my dog grizzly. The first time he loved it he was so pampered he didn’t want to take his bow tie off lol he has been more comfortable going to the vets.. He loves the attention they give him and I love how well they take care of him and they know how to do the cutest haircuts/trims for him. I can say I trust them with my fur baby and love the service
First time taking our boy to get a bath and his nails trimmed. Even though he was nervous, they did an incredible job! They were very thorough and explained in detail how he behaved. Even recommended some items for him for next time to calm him. He smells amazing and looks his very best!
The staff was amazing from the initial call to the drop off and picking up. Cooper the pet going in for the groomer came out happy and tail wagging showing how well they treated him while he was there. His hair cut was perfect exactly what my wife asked for I will be making this our permanent groomer moving forward if I could give 10 stars I would absolutely great experience.
