Was an outstanding initial training. Our Yorkie understood him immediately and respected him. My husband and I learned how to correctly train our puppy with positive training without treats! Apparently we were over feeding our puppy with treats, each day as he was not eating well. Today he ate his entire meal for the first time in weeks. We will continue with TP for a long while!
Travis was great with our dog, Rose. He was super friendly and gave us some great tips and demonstrations on how to make the most out of training. He answered all our questions and I really appreciated that he was so knowledgeable.
Travis demonstrated amazing control of my dog in just minutes after meeting her. My puppy is a Staffy/Pit mix and true to her breeds is often overly exuberant and reactive. Travis quickly calmed her down during an outing in front of my house and then orchestrated a trigger situation to give us immediate practice of the techniques he had modeled. I am feeling much more confident about being able to walk her without having to wrestle with the leash to get her to follow my commands. I am grateful for his teaching and recommend him highly to anyone who is having problems with their dog's behavior.
I can’t say enough good things about TP Dog Training! Travis absolutely blew us away during our session today with my Maltipoo, Beatrix. His expertise and passion for training were evident from the start, and the results were incredible—we noticed a real transformation in Beatrix’s behavior after just one session! Travis took the time to demonstrate practical, easy-to-follow methods, and Beatrix picked them up so fast thanks to his clear guidance and patience. If you’re searching for a top-notch trainer who truly delivers, I’d recommend TP Dog Training a thousand times over!
Luna and I had our first training session with Travis and it went wonderful. He was patient with both of us, and explained things very clearly. I had tried another training program with the use of an e-collar and it did not work for us. Travis methods allowed Luna and I to make more progress in one day than I did in months of training in the past. We will be doing more classes with him. Definitely recommend him
