Horrible experience. I called them out for a small job. On the phone I was told $89 trip, I asked if there were any other fees to be aware of. When the electrician got here, he told me the minimum service fee is $425. The technician also created a mess and didn’t bring a ladder tall enough for the job so it took three hours to complete. Would have been 10 Minutes if they were competent. Edit: yes, I paid the $230 the owner mentioned, because I told the technician there’s no way I’d pay the $425 minimum. This was to change batteries in one smoke detector that was 20ft high. Clearly the technicians are trained to quote lubricious minimum fees. Thankfully I’ve found a better alternative already. I prefer to work with upfront, honest folks.

Excellent customer service. The main reason I called was because I needed an electrician today. I am so happy Hector came out to help with our electrical issue. He was probably the most courteous person we have ever had come to our home for any service. He was very efficient and resolved the problem immediately. We had been battling with bad electrical circuits in our home for years and just getting by with bandaid by unplugging certain items to get others to work. Hector came in and assessed the situation and gave us our options. He advised us on his plan and we accepted without hesitation and Hector got to work. Very professional young man. Golden West is a no nonsense company that backs up their name with quality service. Super happy I called. Finally when he was finished Hector did a final walk through to explain it all. Fantastic. My first impression of this company was excellent thanks to the representative on the phone. She answered on a Saturday, was very polite, professional, and friendly, and communicated everything clearly. She kept her promises, followed up by phone and text, and arranged a same-day emergency appointment without any extra charges — which I really appreciated. Chris, the technician, was also fantastic. He arrived on time (even earlier than expected), explained everything about my furnace in a way I could easily understand, and patiently answered all of my questions. He fixed the issue and walked me through different options without any pressure. Very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and the company — both on the phone and in person. A great first impression!

These guys are very professional. Riley and Edgar arrived in a timely manner from when they said they were on their way. And while it was a little later than hoped, it's only because they got hung up giving another customer great service before me. Even with a late work day they showed up eager to help me out and answer any questions I had. I'll be referring this company to my friends' business in the hope that they have reliable electricians on call for whatever they need.

I found Golden West Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning through Facebook Marketplace when I was looking into upgrading my home’s power panel. Based on my research and talking with neighbors who had similar work done, I had a ballpark idea of what it might cost. Golden West’s estimate was right in line with my budget, so I decided to move forward. The technician, Anthony Linares, was awesome. He was polite, professional, and very easy to talk to. He listened to my concerns, respected my budget, and even worked with me to make the project affordable. Anthony went above and beyond, he worked hard, didn’t cut corners, and kept everything professional the whole way through. I’m really happy with the results. Big thumbs up to Anthony and Golden West!
