We booked Carrie’s Home School program for our rescue pit. Because we have two little kids at home, we just didn’t have the time to train him properly ourselves. It ended up being the perfect fit! Carrie was super patient with him—he needed a little time to warm up and she really knew how to work at his pace. His jumping and play biting have gone down a lot, and he’s walking on a loose leash like a pro now. She also made sure we felt confident working with him after the program. It's evident Carrie deeply cares about both people and animals which made me feel confident right away trusting her with my dog. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer in STL!

Carrie is an incredible trainer. After a few months at home, our rescue hound started barking and jumping uncontrollably every time we encountered another dog on a walk. We knew pretty quickly we needed a trainer who would provide customized, one on one attention for Buckley. Carrie was the perfect fit- she customized a plan that fit our schedule and Buckley's needs, without trying to sell us on unnecessary services or extra time. Her instructions are simple to follow, manageable and yield results very quickly. Buckley is now an excellent walker, who can easily pass other dogs without much more than a glance. If you want to help your dog be the best version of themselves they can be, you won't regret hiring Carrie.

Carrie is lovely, we’ve used her for both of our rescues when we got them to build manners, obedience and confident on walks! She’s nothing short of amazing providing great insight on your dog and what training tactics work best for them. Both Wally and Winnie are two happy pups!

Carrie was extremely helpful and we were still seeing the positive impact she made a year later. She helped us leash train our dog and how we can enjoy nice walks without our dog pulling or running ahead. She helped us understand dog behavior and interactions better so our dog can play with other dogs better and learn to leave other dogs alone. As a pandemic puppy, these are skills that were harder to learn but Carrie helped us set reasonable expectations and steps to take to help our dog get better. She is extremely knowledgable in understanding dog behavior and I highly recommend having her help train your dog. She was very professional and very kind. We are so thankful!!

Our experience with Carrie was nothing short of amazing. After the home school program, our dog's behavior on and off leash has improved drastically and we have learned great strategies to continue that improvement. Carrie's patient and systematic approach were exactly what we needed. Would not hesistate to recommend her to anyone looking for dog training.
