Had a lovely experience at grasso! Service was lovely, quick and the food was amazing! Me and my friend shared the moxerella sticks which were definitely stringy and amazing with the nduja! The hot honey pepperoni pizza was also spot on ! I would like to maybe see the menu increase their options in the future! Decent pricing too!Definitely recommend, also loved the ambiance :)
Grasso was a cheesy lil pre-theatre treat👀 The iconic mozz dippers were an obvious hit - cheese was a bit more solid than I expected but still delivered a solid cheese pull (see vid)! The pool of honey & nduja sauce they come in was dreamy though🥹 The chicken parm was probs my fave part of the meal: loaded with cheese and definitely not something you see on many menus (at least not down South😋) The tiramisu was good too, absolute size of my head but in a good way obvs - v creamy and delicious - no notes🤤 Overall, I did enjoy the food, but maybe hyped it up too much in my head beforehand! It's deffo on the pricier side (London tax amarite) but still one to try if you fancy something a bit different and haven't had your daily dose of cheese yet😂
The menu is a masterclass in classic comfort. The Mozzarella Sticks are a non-negotiable starter—highly recommended for their epic cheese pull and perfect seasoning. For the main event, the Chicken Parmo stands out as a showstopper, featuring tender poultry and a rich, savory sauce that feels like a warm hug. Special mention must go to the Caesar Salad. It manages to capture that elusive "original taste" that many modern spots miss; it’s crisp, punchy, and perfectly balanced. One thing you won’t leave Grasso feeling is hungry—the portions are incredibly generous, making it excellent value for the premium Soho district. Atmosphere & Service The restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious, offering a comfortable dining environment that doesn't feel cramped despite its popularity. The service is consistently warm and attentive, adding to the welcoming, high-energy vibe of the room. Pro-Tips for Visiting Planning: Because of its reputation, it is very hard to find a reservation. You’ll want to book well in advance to secure a table. Transport: While the food is worth the trip, parking in Soho is notoriously expensive and difficult to navigate. Save yourself the headache and the high car park fees by taking the Tube instead. Grasso is a rare gem that lives up to the hype. If you can snag a table, it’s a dining experience you won't soon forget.
We had a booking for 10pm and ended up running late because our theatre show overran, but the team couldn’t have been more understanding. They were so welcoming about it, and even stopped us to ask how the show was, such a small gesture but it really set the tone for the night Every single staff member who greeted us was amazing. They all went out of their way to assist us or to make our experience feel special. The service here truly stands out A special shoutout to Max, who was an absolute star. He was so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. His energy and care honestly made our day. The atmosphere in this place is incredible — warm, lively, and full of great vibes. And the food? Perfect. No notes. We’ll definitely be coming back, genuinely lives up to the hype!
Would definitely recommend booking as those without were turned away. Food was 50/50 for us. Loved the mozzarella sticks (nduja can be separated to suit a halal diet) and pizza, but the chicken parm tasted flat - was just giving tomato. Couldn't get a tiramisu without alcohol, but my friends hated it. The cheesecake was good, but I only ordered it because that was the only other option for dessert. Portion sizes were great, staff were great, atmosphere was great. And, our waiter kindly got me a virgin mojito that wasn't on the menu as I wanted something on the sweeter side.
