I cannot recommend Sam Farkas enough to any guitarist who is looking to master the instrument. I feel like my ability to navigate the instrument confidently has improved greatly since I've started working with Sam, and the lessons are the highlights of my week. Though he steeps his lessons in a stunning blend of music education, practical gigging wisdom, and a personality you'd want to get a drink with, there is also an indescribable fire lit from the very ability to sit two feet away from and study with such a monster player. I took lessons with Sam and really enjoyed my time learning from him. I felt like he explained things in a way that made sense to me given my background and where I was musically, both in terms of technical learning and also songwriting. He was able to tailor the lessons for what my specific goals were and we were able to talk about the process of learning and writing music from a philosophical perspective as well when that was needed. He supported me in writing my first song which was a huge milestone. Highly recommend!
