School of Rock Rocks!!!! My kid loves that he can play music that he loves and the school makes it so convenient when we have to reschedule a lesson or two. Friendly staff and band programs are pretty awesome as the kids are able to collaborate and perform in real venues!

I started all three of my kids at SOR this summer and it was a lot to coordinate but Brittany at the front desk was so kind and answered all my questions and Emily is amazingly responsive too! They are so friendly and welcoming to all the kids. They really know their students and make them feel special when they walk through the door. It’s really sweet. And Sean H is an AMAZING teacher. My kids look forward to lessons with him every week! He makes it fun, he’s encouraging and one of my children has some learning needs so Sean is the perfect fit for him. He’s patient and connects so well with each kid. We love Sean! Some music lessons can be “not fun” but Sean and SOR have created an environment that kids want to come to and be a part of!

My son loves his drum teacher and his band at School of Rock. He always comes home enthusiastic about music and I've never seen him practice as much as when we shifted lessons to SOR.

Review for School of Rock, Belmont TN I feel strongly that the leadership at this location needs serious improvement, starting with whoever is hiring the teachers. The instructors my children worked with seemed unaware of the responsibility and value they should be providing to their students. It often felt like the expectation was for students to come in already knowing how to play, while the school then took credit for their progress. The management is by far the worst I have encountered—unprofessional, lacking business ethics, and clearly more focused on money than on student growth. They show favoritism toward certain students, often based on things like appearances or what the parents drive, rather than actual effort or ability. When parents raise concerns about their child’s lack of progress, management avoids real conversation and offers no solutions or accommodations. In our experience, they were not invested in helping all students succeed, only in spotlighting the ones they chose. Based on what happened with my children, I cannot recommend sending your child to this School of Rock location. If you are looking for a program where every student is given equal opportunities to learn and succeed, this is not the place.

School of Rock is amazing. Our kids always have great conversations on how much they love each session every time we leave the School of Rock. The instructors are great with the kids, and the administrative staff is super professional and highly proficient in communication. Highly recommended the School of Rock, if you’re reading this review you should stop what you’re doing and enroll today.
