I definitely recommend these classes. I took sourdough 101 and it was a fun experience, I learned so much and even got a little of a 100 year old sourdough starter. I definitely want to take more classes.

I booked a private event in my home for a fun girls’ day, and it was one of the best experiences! Green Valley Simple Living made everything easy—they set up, guided us through making sourdough bread and homemade noodles from scratch, and even cleaned everything up afterward. The class was hands-on, fun, and unique, with a teacher full of passion for the craft. We all left not only with delicious food but also with a sourdough starter to continue baking at home. The comfort of learning in my own space made it even more special. This is a perfect event for a birthday celebration, a girls’ day, or anyone wanting to learn traditional skills in a relaxed and enjoyable way. I strongly recommend Green Valley Simple Living!

Rachel is the best teacher. I have taken a couple of classes from her, and I enjoyed them both. She loves what she is doing.

Rachel is such an amazing teacher and the experience is top notch. I felt confident in what I had learned and didn’t feel like I had been hurried through the cooking experience- it was like working in my family’s kitchen learning another skill. Absolutely would do again!

I have been wanting to learn how to make sourdough for a while now. I’m so glad I chose to take a class with Green Valley Simple Living. Rachel and her mother are the absolute sweetest and so helpful! Their space is beautiful and you genuinely feel like you’re at home. My mother in law and I had the best experience and will be attending more classes in the future! Book a class!! You won’t regret it!
