I’ve been going to Ashleigh for almost 2 years now and I cannot recommend her enough! She has done balayage, haircuts, deep conditioning treatments, and event makeup. I consider my hair to be “special” (I suppose we all do) because I am biracial and it is super curly but very fine and I found previous hairdressers to have a hard time cutting my natural curly hair whether it is wet or dry. Usually the layers are off or it still ends up being uneven and the shape flat. But Ashleigh absolutely knows what she is doing and not only does my hair look and feel the best it has ever been, it is healthier and growing like a weed. I came in with virgin hair that hadn’t been chemically processed in over 10 years and she used a very gentle color system to add a gorgeous golden balayage to my dark hair that I get complimented on DAILY! She also uses very high quality products in fact, her Kuene curly shampoo and conditioner is all I use now at home and my two teen girls use it too and I can see true changes in the health of their hair as well. Oh, and the makeup she does is fabulous, I wanted something super natural looking and she used airbrush to create a flawless elevated look based on my skin tone and outfit. If you are looking for a 10 out of 10 professional makeup artist or hair stylist, she is the IT!

5 stars Grounds Hair Salon is a total standout clean, upscale, and beautifully designed. Ashleigh is absolutely phenomenal! She cuts and colors my ethnic, curly hair with such precision and care. Her skill set is unmatched, and she truly knows how to work with all hair types. She uses only the best, top-shelf hair products that keep my hair healthy and vibrant. She’s even styled hair at New York Fashion Week which says everything about her talent and professionalism. I trust her completely and always leave feeling confident and refreshed. Highly recommend!

Ashleigh Grounds is a hair magician! After being her client for years, we hired her to style my hair for my wedding along with my bridesmaids. My hair is very difficult so I was concerned about frizz but I had amazing shiny waves all night! Everyone’s hair was so glamorous!!
