Truthfully we didn't go in for the department store side we went straight up to the 4th floor for a quick drink, staff were very friendly and we got a fantastic seat at the panoramic window overlooking the city and the River. Very relaxing and great service.
You wouldn’t think that a high-end designer shopping place would also have a restaurant serving such incredible food, but Harvey Nichols truly surprised me. I ordered the salmon, and it was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. perfectly cooked, flavorful, and so satisfying. Every bite hit the spot. I paired it with a side of mac & cheese, which was deliciously creamy, cheesy, and comforting. Honestly, whether you’re shopping here or not, it’s worth visiting just for the restaurant. I kept going back for bite after bite, enjoying it more each time. Highly recommended!
Lovely day at Harvey Nichols. Arrived 11.40 left 4pm. Was welcomed to the store by Neil in Chanel who was extremely helpful. Recommended various departments that we should visit. Spent plenty time perusing all the departments then went for lunch. Lunch was lovely food very nice. Service fair to middling would have had deserts and coffee but were totally ignored after plates were cleared despite having ordered a bottle of Bollinger with our lunch. Staff on third floor Eilidh and Ekansha were so helpful and lovely. Nothing was a bother made us feel very welcome. Packed our purchases beautifully. Then visited jewellery counter before visiting Neil at the Chanel counter again before leaving. Definitely enjoyed our Harvey Nichols shopping day thanks to named Staff members
We arrived at the bar for cocktails at around 18:40 on Sunday 27th July following an excellent meal at Fazenda. We were greeted by the lovely maitre d’ who showed us to our table in an unusually quiet restaurant. When we enquired about sitting out on the balcony, we were told that this area was closed for the evening, even although there was around another hour left of service and instead were sat in the bar at the window which is equally as nice, but not on a hot sunny day. We were shortly served by the waitress who reminded us at around 18:45 that they closed at 8pm as she took our drinks order. Our drinks arrived at around 18:55 and by 19:15 we were approached to say that last orders are being taken. We made another order for cocktails and we seemed frowned upon for making this choice even although the bar is open until 8pm. No sooner had the drinks been placed another waiter came over around 19:25 and placed our bill down and fetched the card machine for payment, we both felt rushed and more so as the staff started assembling behind us in their outside clothes and sighing loudly! We were really disappointed by this, as we are regular visitors to the bar and have never received service like this previously. There are other more friendlier bars nearby that I’m sure will be welcoming of our custom.
Phenomenal evening at Harvey Nichols , The poached salmon pasta and beef bourguignon were fantastic. Not to mention the stunning deserts. We got a lovely table with a view of st. Andrews square. Would definitely recommend.
