challenging but comfortable space where you push yourself as far as you choose. I have a minor injury, and the instructor quickly noticed that I was modifying my activity so she gave me an aid to help with that. they have new chips to lay on your mat that have a "yes" and "no" side in regards to permission to modifying your formation with touch. overall great class and I will be back! I felt very comfortable as somebody who went for the first time.
I took my first ever Yoga class at Haum and it was great! I did the 9am Saturday morning with Keegan. She was very kind and introduced herself before class. She made the class very approachable for beginners. I felt well stretched and very relaxed after class. Front desk staff was friendly too! The facilities were clean. I will definitely be going back!
I’m new to yoga. My daughters encouraged me to try it out to help with my balance. Haum was recommended and I really enjoyed the class. I felt welcomed and comfortable in the group and with the instructor. The space was fantastic. Spacious, clean, calm environment. Juan was the instructor and he focused the class intention on the emotion of Joy. I’ll be back.
A very welcoming and accessible studio for people at all levels of their practice. The new student special is an excellent value if you can make it to more than one class a week. The class experiences varied widely based on the instructor - some were more spiritual, others not spiritual at all, but all were a good workout. It’s a smaller space but not as crowded as other studios. I tried the livestream as well which was a great option for when I couldn’t get to the studio, but it was a bit tough to follow because the instructor didn’t model all the poses.
I love taking classes at Haum when I am in San Francisco. A magical community with welcoming spaces and top quality instructors. I have taken a mixture of both Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Flow classes and had a variety of instructors. Each class has been so wonderful with layers of movement to meet you where your body is on the mat that day. I really am looking forward to my future visits.
