Never had these drinks before. The Matcha whip on coconut water is super refreshing. The torched egg on latte is super unique.

We visited Hello Em 3 times during our 4-day stay in Seattle. It was that good where we had to keep coming back. Even though they had some really unique Vietnamese options for coffee, they still had traditional coffee drinks too. I got their ca-phe brûlée primarily and it was a little sweet on top with strong espresso (like a cortado) underneath. Must try!

Hello Em feels like stepping into a cozy Saigon café, every corner is thoughtfully decorated with a warm, nostalgic vibe. We tried the cà phê sữa and cà phê trứng, and both were spot-on: rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The nem nướng bánh mì was fantastic too—crispy on the outside, not soggy, and packed with flavor. The price lean a bit on the higher side, but the atmosphere, coffee, and food make it worth a visit. If you’re in the International District, this place is a must-check!

Such a cute place! My husband ordered the Vietnamese egg coffee (Cà Phê Trứng) and I got the Vietnamese coconut coffee (Cà Phê ćôt Dừa.) Both drinks are quite the treat as they are rich, bold, and have a sweet creamy finish to them. I appreciate the toasted coconut on my drink too. We also ordered the Sữa Đặc - Pandan Croissant and the Croissant Pâtè - breakfast croissant. If you like sweet, get the pandan croissant, but if you like more of a savory flavor, I highly recommend the breakfast croissant. Overall, staff is very friendly and it’s a quaint spot for a date or to catch up with friends! I will say the surrounding area isn’t so great, but in my opinion, if you can find street parking close to Hello Em and go during the day that would be ideal when visiting. My husband and I are not locals, but we thought this place is worth visiting and it was our last stop before heading to the airport so it was a nice send off and closing to our own personal coffee tour of Seattle. ☺️
