I’ve been taking my pets to Highland for over five years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. In the last year or so, as my cat has gotten older and developed more serious health issues, Dr. Sawyer and Monica in particular have been incredible—but the whole team is always so kind and helpful. They are often quite busy, and there have been periods of long wait times for less serious issues. When it really matters, though, they’ve always managed to make time for her more serious needs. Over the past few months they’ve squeezed in so many phone calls, medication adjustments, and last-minute appointments, and it’s really obvious that they’re invested in my cat thriving as much as possible.

I have taken my/our various fur babies to Highland Animal Clinic since the 1980's! I wouldn't change for the world. Their staff, from the Vets to the technicians, have always been the most caring and knowledgeable staff. Our current dog, Daisy, who is a rescue and had a dark history, even wags her tail when in their loving ❤️ care. Thank you for being so caring and kind!

We finally found a veterinary clinic we can truly trust! Dr. Rebecca Sawyer and the Highland Animal Clinic team have been amazing with our two cats since we moved to Alaska. Dr. Sawyer provided gentle, detailed care when they were stressed and answered all our questions with kindness. The staff is always friendly, professional, and caring — we’re so happy to have found such a wonderful team!

Dr Jen and Dr Sawyer are both fantastic. We've been going here for 9 years. They see all 4 of our cats and when our dogs passed of old age we felt so supported. They were so compassionate and helped us feel at ease as we said goodbye to best furry friends.
