My sweet girl was diagnosed with a Mast Cell tumor in a super tricky spot above her tail. The concern was getting clean margins. The staff let me stay with my super anxious pup until she went under. The surgery was a success with clean margins and a great prognosis. The entire staff clearly cares and wants pet parents to feel informed and calm during a stressful time.

I love this vet! My cat has vet office trauma from a vet in another state who insisted he have sedation before returning. When we moved to Saint Louis I told Hillside the whole saga and they said, "let's try another approach." They allowed extra time for Kenny Kat to adjust to the office and even put out calming pheromones around the exam room. He stayed in his carrier until he got bored and his curiosity got the better of him. He came out, started exploring, and before we knew it he was on the exam table! I cannot say enough great things about the staff and vets at Hillside!

I love this Veteranarian office. This is our 3rd dog with them (24 years). Our 14 year old border collie Jinx, had to be euthanized due to illness and they were absolutely wonderful. My new BC Joey is now a patient and he adores the staff. I would highly recommend them.

Truly can't say enough good things about Hillside Animal Hospital. Each and every vet and staff member is professional, knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. When our Husky Aspen was diagnosed with cancer and needed a leg amputated, they walked us through every step and made us feel informed and at peace with such a scary decision. We are forever grateful to them. Unfortunately we are walking another cancer journey with our dog Harry and have been met with nothing but empathy and the best care. They truly love and care for our pets like their own. Couldn't imagine taking our beloved dogs anywhere else.
