Kai at HMB swapped out a dead charging port on my Samsung S20 FE in a matter of 20 minutes or less. He was extremely friendly the whole time and we lightly chatted as he worked on my phone. The process was simple. I called HMB, explained my situation and he quoted me on the spot. Came in, got it fixed, paid and went my way. A genuinely pleasant experience. Not only a fairly priced one, but the work is top notch. I got an OEM part for a better deal than any other store. Last but not least, I was not required to give my passcode for this particular fix. I had taken my phone to another store earlier at Mission Valley Mall and needed to give them my PW for the repair, which they failed anyways. HMB didnt ask for it once. I take cyber security very seriously and it's way more easier than you think to snag data off a phone without needing to have your passcode. There was no suspicious cables or activity that I saw during my visit and the repair was done right in front of me. So take that as you will. 5/5 stars!
