Friendly, affordable unpretentious gym which is rare for Los Angeles. Unfortunately it’s also completely archaic, terrible air conditioning, and the weights area is always a complete mess. People don’t even re-rack their weights half the time and the one staff member on duty is usually chilling at front desk instead of tidying up. Everything is always completely disorganized and in complete disarray. But you get what you pay for I guess.

Five stars isn’t enough. I love Hollywood Boxing Gym. I’ve been torching 1300 calories a session—no joke. The classes are challenging and high-energy, the sparring is intense (in the best way), and the community is top-notch. Everyone’s friendly, supportive, and there to put in the work. Whether you’re training for a fight or just trying to get in killer shape, this place delivers.
