Great Community initiatives going on here. Delicious pies good scouse ethos.. food is great ideas and things they do are great. Look inside at some of the info when popping in. Prices are a little premium but when you realise how the profits are used its worth it. Great service always a great idea overall. Never sat in only takeaway and always been great..recommended for true scouse style while visiting the stadium..dont buy the hot food slop at the garage across the road for 2 pound cheaper..this is true soul food high quality and made with love and kindness. Try it out won't b disappointed. Parking on normal days easy but match days diffuclt..30 seconds from anfield
We stopped by to get warm after going the grave absolutely drenched and all the staff welcomed us they are a beautiful team and the cafe area to dine in is cosy warm and friendly even the other customers are lovely it was busy even on a wet Monday afternoon. The coffee is good and the pies have the best pastry ever! It really cheered my Dad up he enjoyed the Scouse pie served with mash and gravy and it brightened his day up! I Went for the KLOPP pie it was great and the filling was lovely contains steak cooked in Erdinger Weissbräu, Jürgen Klopp's preferred German beer along with onion, gherkin, capers, and potatoes. Scouse pie is also good and you can have the option to add mash and gravy. Thanks to all the staff you’re are all so kind and welcoming you warmed our hearts. ♥️ 🥰
First Visit – Honest Thoughts We finally got to try this place today after hearing so much about it from locals. We’ve been curious for a while and it really feels like one of those proper neighbourhood spots that people love and talk about. We tried one light dish and one of the traditional pies so we could get a feel for both sides of the menu. The avocado toast with poached eggs was really lovely, fresh, simple, and exactly what we were hoping for. The eggs were poached nicely, the toast was crisp, and it just felt right. For the pie with mash and gravy, we truly appreciate that it’s homemade and a very traditional British favourite. It just came out a bit too salty for us personally. The mash tasted like powdered mash, and with the pastry, filling, and gravy together, it became quite salty for our taste. We know many people enjoy that classic flavour, but it didn't fully fit our palate this time. One thing we really want to highlight, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very welcoming atmosphere, and that matters a lot to us. Will we come back? Yes, definitely. We’d love to try other dishes next time because every taste is different, and we still enjoyed the overall experience. The avocado and eggs were a highlight for us, and the warm service made the visit even nicer. Grateful we finally got to try this place, looking forward to exploring more of the menu on our next visit.
Just finished Stadium tour, and had a pie sitting down at shop. Had a Vegan Scouse pie which intrigued me and it was lovely. My friend and cousin had traditional meat based pies and they enjoyed theirs too. Liked the fact you could buy pies to take home and cook. Shop had a window shelf with about 5 stools so not really a sit down place. Probably very busy on match day.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem for Cake and Coffee Lovers! If you’re a fan of cozy vibes, friendly service, and truly delicious home-baked treats, this place is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm cakes straight from the oven. The cakes are absolutely divine – moist, flavourful, and clearly made with love. Whether you’re into classic Victoria sponge, rich chocolate fudge, or something a bit more unique like their seasonal specials, there’s something for every sweet tooth. You can really taste the difference that home baking makes. The coffee is just as impressive – smooth, strong, and expertly brewed. It pairs perfectly with the cakes and makes for a lovely afternoon break or a catch-up spot with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely, with charming décor and a welcoming feel. You’re not just a customer here – you feel like a guest in someone’s kitchen. Highly recommend this little gem – I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
