Lovely garden centre restaurant, it is modern, comfortable and very clean. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious. My first time eating here but will definitely be back.

Ive been before but thought i would bring my hubby and 2 boys along for a good feed and they loved it! The kids portions are decent and delicious but the chips with chicken salt and reuben sandwich were brilliant! Great food, lovely staff members and an all round great experience once again!

Food is excellent need to wait a wee while for it but its worth it. Had to ask twice for our coffees as we requested them to be brought with our food not before something to work on. Quite a few dogs in, my jury is still out on animals being in places where food is served. Will note on nxt visit if there is a dog free zone!

We ordered our Xmas tree from here for first time last year and it was beautiful. Ordered a 6ft Fraser Fir again this year. It arrived on Monday and was really disappointed with it. Very narrow, quality was poor and very scraggy (looked like someone had hacked at it tbh) with a lot of needle drop as soon as the net was cut off. Emailed Homegrown, sent pictures and thankfully they agreed to replace and get new one over to us in 48hrs. I asked if driver would leave to side of house as would not be in on this date. All good. Tree arrived as promised and much, much better, so was very relieved. However, driver called me and transpired he had not been advised to leave it. Almost missed the call and the delivery! Overall I have found their communications to not be the best. Phone ringing out, messages not passed on. Last year tree came at 830 at night. But disaster averted and prompt reply and action on complaint was much appreciated 👏

Visited Saturday and was very disappointed in the service. We booked a table for 2.15 arrived and waited at the top of the stairs to be seated. We were quickly joined by lots more people waiting. Which is completely fine but when someone out the queue decides to just walk in and advise they have a table and get seated is disappointing there is a queue for a reason we all had bookings! We got taken shortly afterwards took around ten mins for a drinks order other tables seated after us were served first. We did not get advised of what the soup was or any specials like last time we visited. Drinks arrive all good and very enjoyable, lunch order taken and then the wait began took an hour to get food, it was busy but no one came near our table to apologise or offer more drinks so were left sitting with nothing. Finally food arrives an hour after our booking time. (Sandwich and a ploughman’s and hash browns so nothing that should take this long) I order another drink at same time (still no one thought to offer one) which never appears. We finish our meals still no drink to wash down my lunch and no service so we need to get up and walk to the till to pay plates still on our table. It’s a good job the food tastes fab or this would have been a one star but service needs a huge improvement to make me come back again. Overall very poor.
