Love it here. Great selection of games, comics and fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Nice small space in a really pretty courtyard with a cute outdoor reading space. The owner was very kind and ordering a book through them was very easy.

I genuinely adore this shop. They have a small but thoughtful collection of books, highlighting minority authors and issues. Cute interior, nice little patio in the back, and the staff is super friendly. They also have comic boxes! The selection is mixed and mostly focused on modern story arcs. Definitely worth the stop in to support a small buisness with a lot of soul!

Love their vibe. We went for the Crafting Resilience class with Reggie and Go, and we had the best time. Inclusive, friendly, super kind people and the class was a huge success with people of all ages coming out to mend clothes via hand sewing. This is what regime resistance looks.

Such a great space for some wonderful reads. The shop is so cozy and full of a thoughtful and powerful selection of books. They also have a comic book selection and some board games too. The (co-op owned!) staff is super friendly and the space is welcoming. If they don't have what you're looking for they can order it no problem. Homeward also has a special shaded outdoor patio space in the back with lots of seating where all you desert dwelling ink drinkers can hang out and enjoy your new books! The entrance to the shop is through the gate/archway that you see from N 1st Avenue. You can walk or drive through that open archway into the inner courtyard and Homeward Books will be just ahead slightly to your left (Unit 8).
