Any color would do whether we cut raw meat or vegetables. Apparently this isn't what you'd do in a real kitchen and can get you fired. Just failed a pre-screen test for cutting board colors and why they're used. Even prep cooks need to know this information because : "Different cutting board colors are used to prevent cross-contamination and allergic reactions between different types of food" Maybe after this review they'll add it to their curriculum to prevent food borne illness.

Went into the prep cook pre-apprenticeship program not knowing what to expect for a free beginners program, ended up getting more than I expected. I learned the basics of working and cooking in a professional kitchen. The friendly and caring staff also help with one on one support to help you find a job after finishing the program. I plan on taking their line cook program in the future. Didn't even have to pay for the food handlers certificate.

This school is hands down the best Culinary School in Los Angeles! My experience with them was unforgettable and life changing. I learned everything I needed to know to pursue my career as a professional Chef. Graduated in 2022 and now working with some of the most decorated Chefs in the world thanks to this school. Everyday I grow and carry on the teachings of my instructor, Chef Danny Harold, with me through every shift, every service. Thank you Hospitality Training Academy, and thank you Chef Danny Harold. I highly recommend it to aspiring cooks that need to truly hone their skills as a proper Chef. Truly, trust me, it will change your life.
