I just had a 2 week trial at HYP. While i definitely liked the regular vinyasa classes, I was disappointed with pilates. while the workout itself was great, the loud EDM music and teacher yelling to be heard wasn't ideal.
This is.a nice studio. Like any exercise/yoga class, it is hit or miss depending on the instructor. The better instructors don't pace around the studio during balancing poses because it can be very distracting. They also do not talk incessantly during Savasana and make sale pitches for their own sessions and the studio's. So I encourage you to try this studio, and get to know the instructors, and whose classes to take, and whose to avoid.
I’ve taken several pilates classes with madison. She’s great with both experienced and novice participants (like me), with a great rhythm to her workouts, allowing people to go at their own pace but still be challenged throughout. She seems very cool! And the studio is always great vibes
I had such a wonderful experience here. My teacher, her name is Tina, was absolutely amazing and helped me throughout the class. I personally love the atmosphere here and the bathrooms are so clean. I’ll definitely become a regular (I hope) 🥰🥰🥰. I haven’t done Pilates, but I did their hot yoga class and it was great.
Amazing and new hot yoga experience for me at this yoga studio in downtown Philadelphia. This yoga studio takes hot yoga to the next level with repetition in flows which results in an excellent stretch for hips, back, and chest. I enjoyed the practice with Joel Pier,2$9 seems to be a yoga veteran! Can’t wait to take another class with him. I also noticed that Hot Yoga partners with local entrepreneurs in the city. In the lobby where stations of entrepreneurs selling their new products, which I love!
