I’m not normally one to leave bad reviews however this is a joke firstly we booked a table of 9 but were told that due to salsa dancing we’d have to sit at a table that only fit 6 could have at least called to let us know. On top of that we had a person with us who was gluten feee with us that made the unfortunate choice to order the gluten free tacos that were burnt to a crisp and tasted like ash. When we asked the waiter if that was normal she proceeded to tell us that that’s how it’s meant to be we asked another waiter who told us that she tried them they were horrible and made her feel sick all day after eating them two of these tacos and a drink were $50 by the way the right thing to do there would be to offer a refund but no just a very insincere apology what a joke

We absolutely love Hotel Panchos! The food is authentic, delicious and full of flavour — easily one of the best Mexican restaurants on the Gold Coast. It’s a perfect spot for families, with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds that keep the kids happy while you relax. The live music on Sundays creates such a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautifully located in nature, making it such a peaceful and enjoyable experience overall. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, good vibes and a true local gem!

We arrived, was asked if we had a reservation, once our reservation was confirmed were told we had max 2 hours seating! Which I understand being Father’s Day they needed too, but work on delivery and tone- because this half-arsed welcome definitely set the tone for what we were to expect for the duration of our time here. There were heaps of tables with reserved signage on, but not occupied. The place was not packed to capacity. We had to get up and call someone every time we wanted to order something as the table scanners are only activated for drink orders. The young lady going around to the tables taking orders with her iPad was exceptionally rude, and made us feel like needing to order food was a bit of an inconvenience to her day. The food is not Mexican food! Nachos and guacamole does not make a Mexican restaurant. There was a lack of seasoning on everything we ate!!! We were brave enough to hang around for dessert- I rate the Churros at movie world tastes better than the oil drenched sticks we were served.

Worth the travel great Mexican restaurant with outdoor area quiet and comfortable. I had the calamari entree and a prawn taco and surf and turf taco enjoyed every last bite. Lovely cocktails as well
