HotRod Tattoo is hands down amazing. I went in to get my Homer Simpson tattoo re-done with coloring, and Gene Heideman took incredible care of me from start to finish. The coloring came out awesome — clean, vibrant, and exactly what I was hoping for. When the tattoo started to hurt, Gene immediately offered numbing cream, which made the rest of the session way more enjoyable. Once we finished, he applied latex-free second skin, and that alone made the healing process so much easier and smoother. On top of that, Gene also pierced my daughter’s ears, and I can’t say enough about how patient and kind he was. She was scared at first and started crying, but once she saw her dad getting tattooed, she calmed down and felt comfortable. Now she’s already talking about coming back for her nose piercing — and she only wants HotRod Tattoo to do it. Professional, caring, and great vibes all around. Highly recommend HotRod Tattoo and Gene Heideman. 👌
I highly recommend HRT. Gene was great! He gave me a chance on a crazy head tattoo idea and brought my vision to life. He was mindful of time, cost, and balancing my expectations with what my skin could physically handle in longer sessions. The shop was very clean, well run, the staff was so nice, and Gene’s creativity and professionalism was second to none. You can tell by the vibe in this shop that everyone really cares about their craft and elevating each other. Couldn’t recommend enough.
