My appointment with Dr. Downing today was an excellent experience as usual. Diana and Jessica provided outstanding care and instructions for post operative wound management. The entire staff is kind, courteous, makes me feel comfortable and at home, and they have a great sense of humor. Dr. Downing has an excellent bedside manner and takes the time to explain the diagnosis, treatment plan, wound care, and expected prognosis. Many thanks to everyone at HDS. Very much appreciated. Great experience. I just went for my first session to treat a big keloid left my surgery and Bianca and Mari we're just amazing. I was so nervous and they made me feel safe and heard, Bianca is an excellent doctor and professional.
Dr. Downing did Mohs surgery on me (on my face) in November 2025. He did a fantastic job and I would absolutely go to him again, although I hope I don’t have to. I recommend him without reservation. Quick data points: - Doesn’t keep you waiting. - He’s young, but does this surgery over and over. - He got the “bad” tissue out in one pass without creating a crater. - In my case, he had a plastic surgeon sew me up after surgery (I needed a small skin graft). His office coordinated with the other doctor’s office so that I saw them both on the same day. - No problems with billing and paperwork. - Pleasant personality - Competent and pleasant support staff - The spot in question is still healing, but looks like it will heal fully
Dr. Byrne is truly exceptional. He has the best bedside manner—calm, compassionate and reassuring from start to finish. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, never rushed me and explained each step so I always understood what was happening. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and I left feeling completely at ease. Going to the doctor can be scary but not here. Dr. Byrne creates an environment where you feel safe, respected and genuinely cared for. His professionalism combined with his kindness makes him stand out and I am so grateful for the peace of mind he provided. His assistant is just as amazing! If you’re looking for a dermatologist who listens, explains, and treats you with empathy, Dr. Byrne is the one.
I was nervous going in for Mohs surgery, Dr Downing is very skilled and knowledgeable along with his staff. He cares a lot for his patients health and their concerns. Would highly recommend him to anyone. I felt so much better after my first surgery after seeing him to discuss my needs
