Hussong’s Mexican Cantina is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and celebrations. The food is delicious and full of authentic Mexican flavor—everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The margaritas are excellent and clearly a highlight, perfectly balanced and refreshing. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Britany was the manager and Antonio hour waiter! Service is quick without feeling rushed, and the overall experience is consistently enjoyable. If you’re looking for great Mexican food, a fun vibe, and top-notch drinks, Hussong’s Mexican Cantina is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended

Came in for happy hour where select items run for $4-6 a plate, and boy were the tacos big! Much larger than anticipated. We had the beer-battered fish tacos and the chipotle burnt ends tacos. The latter is not something you see in taco form anywhere, so we thought why not. Delish! Tender and they didn’t skimp on the meat. We also had the beef taquitos. Also good. Though the salsa verde was more sour than I would have liked. Nice if they had served it with guacamole too! We also opted for the jalapeño pineapple margarita. Not on the happy hour menu but at $14, this was worth every dollar as it was deeeeelicious! Refreshing and well-balanced. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance: festive casual. Cute. Parking: free and ample spaces in a parking lot. We loved our experience and look forward to trying other items on the menu!

food was fantastic. food prepared with care and came out hot. Anna H. was pleasant and very attentive. She knew when to check on me and refill my drinks . I already knew I was getting great service when she came up to me great place and staff well trained

Good Parking. Great for groups, family and kids. Live Mariachi-esque band doing covers from Baby Shark to Milk Shake by Kelis. Service was great. Server was attentative. Igot the Shrimp tacos, and this is top 5 for me. had my fair share of San Diego Shrimp tacos. My friend got the Chimichanga we were wondering why there were beans in a Chimichanga, but o well it was good. She wasnt able to finish it unfortunately. Ceviche was ok, was lacking something, Salsas they provide were good i liked the darker sweeter one, its defferent. Iwill be coming back.

We met up with friends of ours that have dined here before and we have been wanting to try it out so it worked perfectly. We were a group of 5 and had no problem getting seated right away. We were greeted right away and sat immediately. We were brought chips and salsa and shortly after our server came over and got our drinks started. Not long after we got our food order in and everything was brought out in a timely manner. To start the chips and salsa were good, the darker sauce was more of a chipotle type sauce and the other was a regular pico type. Our food came out hot and to order, my wife enjoyed the chimichanga and my enchiladas were good , for me the rojo sauce was a little heavy on the seasoning but overall it was good. The restaurant was clean and well kept and it was an overall good experience. We will return for some more.
