This review may be somewhat unique compared to all of the other hundreds upon hundreds of fabulous FIVE STAR rave reviews about Impex Auto Body Shop. Please understand that we certainly love and appreciate the precision work these folks have done to our car, just like all the other hundreds of reviews. After all, Impex is rated the largest and absolute best auto body shop in Tampa for a very deserving and positive reason. They have been a true blessing to the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. However, rather than repeat all of their other reviews and accolades, today I wanted to write a review about their staff and Impex’s owner, Julio. These warm, wonderful, caring people are even more fabulous than the incredibly brilliant work that they've performed on our automobile. From the moment we walked into their shop and met Maria sitting behind the front desk, to the auto repair professionals we conversed with about our car, to Julio their admired owner, we felt the true welcome, warmth and work-related confidence that these folks displayed. We instantly felt like newly and sincerely cared for members of their very thankful and very fortunate Tampa Bay customer-based family. Having our auto reassembled properly at a fair price brought such a secure feeling by simply knowing that we were in the absolute best caring and most professional hands. By the way, their fabulous expresso coffee that they provide for all their customers is exceptional too. Our appreciation of Impex’s work, their caring staff, their owner Julio, and much more about them are abundant. I feel compelled to share my terrific experience with the family-owned Impex G.A.E. auto body shop in Tampa. Julio was friendly, patient, and helpful in his explanation of what work would be done to my car. The team did a fantastic job repairing the damage to the point that I cannot tell the collision ever happened. I appreciated the extra effort they showed in quickly and resourcefully acquiring a replacement part that was difficult to source. I was also glad to hear that they securely store all vehicles behind locked gates on their property. Celina and the staff were excellent in their communication with me as the repair progressed. My car was returned to me in a cleaner condition outside and even inside than when I dropped it off, which was an unexpected bonus. I was pleasantly surprised that they even cleaned the floorboard. Throughout the repair process, I felt like I was treated respectfully and fairly. I would unreservedly recommend Impex G.A.E. for auto body repair!
Very friendly and responsive. They did amazing work repairing my hood and bumper. My vehicle looks brand new.
