I’ve tried to be patient, but overall I’m pretty unhappy with this gym. The steam room finally works again, but it still randomly closes, which defeats the point of it being a reliable amenity. On top of that, the gym itself continues to feel unhygienic. The bathrooms are especially bad to the point where it’s genuinely concerning!!!!! I honestly should have taken pictures?! The floor experience hasn’t been great either. Machines are constantly being hogged by school kids or influencers filming content, making it hard to get a solid workout in without waiting!!! It doesn’t feel like management is paying attention to what’s actually happening day to day. sad. For what they charge monthly, this place just isn’t worth it anymore. At this point, I’m going to unsubscribe and move on. I’d rather join Planet Fitness and adjust my workouts around their equipment and facilities than keep paying a premium price for ongoing issues and frustration!
Been to three gyms so far, and this might sound crazy, but Planet Fitness actually has better-maintained machines. If you think switching to In-Shape is going to mean fewer people, buckle up. You’d assume the higher price would thin the crowd out, but nope it’s packed basically 24/7. I think the biggest issue is the hours, there are people in every time slot throughout the day. Yeah, it has more machines than your average gym, but it’s nowhere near as clean as you’d expect. It’s clearly understaffed and feels like it’s run strictly as a business, not a gym. Honestly? Not worth $85/month. Feels more like a $40–$50 gym at best. I have heard that other locations are better, but i have not tried them out, i just know this one is buns lol. #UnSub
They fixed everything plus improved the heavybag🥊Steam room is better spa gets cleaned every thurs. Heavybag actually has its own work out area. It took time, Im satisfied. Family community gym we all look out 4 each other all ages.
I’ve been a member here for years, and the decline since In-Shape took over has been impossible to ignore. I’m in the gym Monday–Friday at 4 AM and weekends at 6 AM, so I see the issues daily. Equipment stays broken for months. Right now, there are four StairMasters out of order, and that’s just one example. The sauna and steam room, which are the only reason many of us stay, work inconsistently at best. Cleanliness has also gone downhill, and overall it feels like the facility quality is no longer a priority. The only positive part of this location is the people, both the members and the staff who show up and do their best despite the conditions. I’ve been to Planet Fitness, Crunch, 24 Hour Fitness, Lifetime, and even other In-Shape clubs, and unfortunately this is the worst location by far. As soon as another gym with comparable amenities opens nearby, I’ll be switching.
This family gym has some solid perks, but it's not without its quirks. We'd give it a 3-star rating – good, but with room for improvement. The biggest draws here are definitely the aquatic facilities. Having an indoor pool is a huge plus, especially for families. And the outdoor splash pad for kids in the parking lot is a fantastic idea, providing a safe and fun way for little ones to cool off. Speaking of the parking lot, it's undeniably big and spacious, which is a relief when you're trying to wrangle kids and gear. However, it can feel a bit unsettlingly empty at times, so just be mindful of your surroundings, especially if you're there during off-peak hours. Where the gym could really step up its game is in the organization department. We often found that things were a bit unorganized and not always in their proper place. This can make it tricky to find what you're looking for, whether it's a specific piece of equipment or just a clean towel. They do have mini equipment for kids, which is great for encouraging young exercisers, but again, keeping these areas tidy would enhance the experience. Overall, it's a decent spot for families looking for a gym with a pool, but a little more attention to tidiness and organization would go a long way in making it a truly top-notch facility.
