A lovely spot for authentic Japanese food .The dishes were full of flavour, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming perfect for a casual dinner or a catch-up with friends. Everything came out fresh and well paced. Definitely a great place if you’re craving proper izakaya-style food. I’ll be coming back to try more from the menu!

With the look and feel of a side street in Tokyo, Izakaya has the real ambience of a little Japanese restaurant. Located in the heart of surfers, you can find parking in the Novotel basement Park across the road. They offer 2 inconvenient bookings 545 and 745 pm so best to walk off the street at 6 30 and find a table. Food is freshly prepared and quickly served with a smile- the Ramen was tops as was the pork cutlet. Karahe chicken was a bit dry. Overall nice experience

Oh my god, this is actually the yummiest udon I’ve had in Australia! The soup was not so rich which was great, and the side dishes just complemented the udon so well! The restaurant is like a little, tucked-away spot on the street but when you walk in and sit down, it doesn’t even feel like you’re in Australia or Gold Coast anymore

Visiting from Brisbane, we stumbled upon this beautiful little restaurant - and were very proud of ourselves when we decided to dine in this unassuming little restaurant. This place is an absolute gem. The staff immediately made us feel welcome, offering impeccable, warm hospitality throughout our meal. The food? Phenomenal. The chefs are true masters of their craft, elevating Japanese cuisine to an art form. Every single dish was a revelation of flavour and fresh ingredients, utterly and truly delicious.

This restaurant is the one of my favourite Japanese in Gold Coast. I love all aspects of the restaurant: food, service, and, atmosphere. I will definitely come back here every time if i visit Gold Coast. Last year we missed it as they were on holidays in May 2024. Keep it up!!!
