I had to cancel my membership today. I came into today to get a detail & car wash before I came I needed to change my license plate because I got another car. When I came to the southfield location I was initially met with a tone. Something I'm used to from the older guy who works the window. I was given a 9.99 detail coupon. I paid & went through the line. I noticed while my car was being detailed the young lady was just standing around often looking at us every know and then. I also notice that the bigger guy had left. At the time i didnt know he was the manager jason. Eventually someone else came to detail the car. None of this bothered me. What bothored me was when i looked to the back of my car the entire middle was not vaccumed. After the wash I pulled back in to vaccume it myself. When I pulled off i notice my radio screen had not been cleaned nor had the middle console or the 2nd & third row seat were not cleaned off either. Despite being asked about the 3rd row and if i wanted clean. I drove back around to talk to the older guy. He said he'd get the manager. Thats when the bigger guy jason came out. I explained to him the situation. He cut me off & wouldnt even listen to what I had to say or what I was trying to explain to him.. He was very very rude, condascending, & manipulative. He stated that if i wanted a full detail that I can go somewhere else and pay 150 not 9.99. He said clearly im new because 9.99 is for new customers and it doesnt gurantee a fully clean car. He asked what did i want him to do. I said id just like to be compensated. He said all he can do is wipe off my radio. Then in the next breath walked off saying good day. It upset me very badly mostly the way I was being talked to and came at as a paying club member customer. Who had just set in line for a good amount of time & just wanted a clean car for mothers day. I have been coming here for years with several vehicles. He was very rude and condescending and combative it was so unneccesary because I did not have a tone or any energy until i felt i was being disrespected. I was trying to enjoy my mothers day weekend. & now its ruined. I am canceling my membership because i dont want to be treated like that in a establishment i am paying for. Especially when i do feel both men were just racially profiling me. I believe this entire situation was racially charged & has been going on for a while. I have always ignored the older guy but i guess i shouldnt have. I also dont want to give anyone that much power to upset me like that.
