Amazing alterations! The stitching is neat and the result looks like it was made that way originally. The staff were friendly and patient, and the turnaround time was quick. Will definitely come back.

I had the best experience here. I had my wedding dress altered abroad and realised just days before my wedding that the original alterations were poorly done. J D Alterations truly saved the day! She did an incredible job- thorough, kind, and exceptionally skilled. I couldn’t recommend her more.

I think it is places like this that make the current struggles of small business to operate in inner city locations so tragic. To lose a business like this would be a disservice to the entire West End community. Actually, anyone that happens to appreciate quality alterations, friendly customer service, attention to detail and flexibility. The owner operator is a super seamstress. She puts the same amount of love and care in to small sentimental pieces as she does a large expensive tailoring job. It's the best work I've seen up in Brisbane and encourage everyone to get their alterations here. Even pieces that are easy to replace, save the environment and get them fixed and JD alterations!

JD did an incredible job on my dress fitting! She’s so talented, super precise and made the whole process easy. The fit turned out perfect, and she had it ready in such a quick turnaround. I’m so happy with the result. highly recommend her for any alterations!

I've never been treated so awfully in my life. Was laughed at, body shamed and charged $40 for wasting her time when I decided not to go ahead with the alterations after all this. ADDED AFTER REPLY: This reply is extremely disappointing and the information is untrue. The language barrier certainly wasn't an issue when I was laughed at and told that if I had my pants taken in I wouldn't fit into them. If there is a charge for 'wasting time', the time-wasting was certainly not from my end. Not to mention I had to help another poor customer transfer funds directly using payID when the card was refused, before I was able to discuss the alterations. Extremely poor form as a whole. You cannot just blatantly lie in review replies or blame a language barrier when the issue was nothing to do with this. It felt like petty bullying and I will not be told my experience or review was untrue when I know what happened.
