I loved the new Baby Bulldogs program for 3+ years old. Their fun lesson plan keeps their attention span of these little ones, and my son had a great time! My son loved being around children close to his age and was able to take the simple guidance from the instructors. I think the value is great for twice a week lessons and the amount of instructors around helping these toddlers stay on task is great. Everyone is so kind and patient. The studio is big and has tons of seating for parents to be able to sit comfortably while viewing their children. The little uniforms are just SO CUTE as well.

A great place to train Jiu jitsu. Carlson Gracie Tucson was very welcoming, friendly and experienced. The gym is very clean, spacious and inviting. Professor Andre and the staff are excellent. I highly recommend Carlson Gracie Tucson.

The Naruepon Thai Boxing gym is one-of-a-kind. A talented local Muay Thai boxer directed me and my family there when my then-four-year-old began asking to learn. She was young, but the family-friendly atmosphere was good for her. Coach J's daughter immediately began showing her some of the moves (thanks, E! You're an awesome teacher, too!). Kru Naruepon Fairtex, a world-famous Muay Thai boxer, is also a world-class teacher and a father, and he is excellent with kids. Soon after my daughter signed up, my husband began taking classes, too. Eventually, I signed up as well, even though martial arts is decidedly not in my background or even comfort zone. Working with Kru and Coach Amy and Coach Jocelyn has been so good for my physical and mental health. Kru encourages the community to help support and prepare fighters for upcoming fights, and in this way, we are all connected to the fighters who are talented and dedicated, and we feel a swell of pride in doing what we can to help them. As a professor, I have learned a lot from Kru et. al.: there's a fine line between pushing someone to be their best and asking someone to overdo it, risking burn out. A good teacher should be sensitive to their student's progress and needs, as well as suspicious of their crutches. I have loved my time participating in Muay Thai training, and I encourage anyone-- ages 4 and up!-- to consider signing up here. You won't find this kind of instruction anywhere else.

My son has been attending Carlson Gracie since their grand opening! He absolutely loves it. He has made friends that have become like family and his confidence has grown so much! He has matured and has learned self defense and discipline. Professor Andre is amazing and all coaches are very knowledgeable in teaching techniques to everyone of all ages! Carlson Gracie Tucson is a family friendly environment! We highly recommend this place a 10/10!!!

Our son has been doing jiu jitsu at Carlson Gracie for about a year now. The growth in confidence and self discipline in him has been remarkable. Professor Andre and the other instructors care and love our children and it shows. It’s not just about the competition and physical skills but the emotional and mental well being of the kids. We had tried other gyms but this was like no other. They are organized, friendly, but still teach our kids to be respectful and disciplined. All the instructors will take the time to sit with the kids and guide them when they’re having a hard time. Lisa and the front staff are always friendly and welcoming. We are beyond blessed with everyone we have met who have become like family!
