I was so happy to find this jeweler who carried a Swiss watch battery that no other jeweler I visited had on hand. I saw several jewelry pieces that were gorgeous!

Todd is the man!!!! Personable, goofy, and very knowledgeable. He custom made my NOW fiancé a BEAUTIFUL ring. He made a breathtaking lab grown diamond and on the band had real diamonds with white gold. Couldn’t have asked for a better end result. Every time he told me something would be ready, he’d finish it before that date. There’s a reason they’ve been open for so many years!!

Got my Mothers Wedding rings resized and while I was helping her with that got mine resized as well, the work was done well and timely.

I brought in a mid-century Philippe Watch chronograph that had been sitting for decades, and Todd the watchmaker not only confirmed it was powered by a Valjoux movement, but brought it fully back to life. This was not a simple job — it needed a full teardown, new mainspring, and internal restoration — and the work was done with real craftsmanship and care. Todd is clearly passionate (borderline obsessive in the best way), and it shows in the final result. The watch is now running beautifully, and I couldn’t be happier. The communication was always professional, and the pricing was fair for the level of work involved. If you’ve got a vintage or heirloom watch, Johantgen is one of the few places left that can truly handle it. Highly recommended — 5 stars.
