We hired JR Music Collective for our wedding at Bridal Veil Lakes, and they were amazing! Our DJ, Kelly, made the entire day run so smoothly. Bridal Veil Lakes can be a tricky venue for sound setup since there are multiple areas, but Kelly seamlessly handled equipment in three different locations and everything sounded perfect. He took all of our music preferences into account and created the perfect vibe for each part of the day. There was something for everyone, and the dance floor was packed all night! Kelly was also a fantastic MC — he kept everything flowing naturally and on schedule without ever feeling forced or scripted. As a bonus, after the wedding we received audio recordings of our ceremony and toasts, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We’re so grateful for their professionalism and talent and highly recommend JR Music Collective for any event!

We hired Chaz Van Queen from JR Music Collective as our DJ and MC for the reception, and he was fantastic. I discovered JR Music Collective after doing a ton of research and ended up choosing a package that fit both our budget and the kind of vibe we were going for. From the start, communication was solid. The team checked in with us periodically via email, and their planning form made it super easy to share our must-have music preferences. On the day of, Chaz was everything you’d want in a wedding DJ. He was professional, on time, easy to work with, and incredibly down-to-earth. His song transitions were seamless, his announcements were on point, and he kept the energy up all night without ever feeling over-the-top. Even though we didn’t hear a lot of the specific songs we had requested (aside from our first dance and exit song), the music selection overall was great and really fit the mood of the evening. If you're looking for a DJ who can create an amazing atmosphere, read the room, and handle everything with professionalism and care, I would absolutely recommend Chaz Van Queen and JR Music Collective to other couples.

JR Music Collective—and John Ross specifically—helped make our wedding day absolutely magical. From the moment we visited John’s website and watched his videos, we knew he would be the perfect fit for our celebration. He was wonderful to work with, always easy to communicate with, and ready with helpful suggestions when we needed guidance. John provided everything we needed: music and microphones for the ceremony, live acoustic guitar and vocals during cocktail hour, and then an incredible mix of music, mics, and lighting for the reception. His live performance during cocktail hour was beautiful and created such a memorable atmosphere. What stood out most was John’s artistry and care. He takes real pride in his craft, and it showed throughout the night—he read the crowd effortlessly, keeping the energy flowing and our guests fully engaged. One of the most touching moments came after the wedding: on our one-month anniversary, he surprised us by sending the audio recording of our ceremony. Hearing our vows again brought us to tears, especially since our only regret was not hiring a videographer. If you are looking for music that is not only professional but deeply personal and heartfelt, John Ross and JR Music Collective will be perfect for your event.

Working with the entire JR team was an incredible experience! From our initial inquiry, Jenny in the office has been communicative and helpful every step of the process and has helped answer any of our questions. John has also stepped in to help out with some of my unusual requests and has always been very kind and accommodating through my particularities. The biggest reason for this 5 star review, however, is our DJ Dalton! If we could give him more stars, we would. He was such an asset to have on our team on our wedding day. From making sure he was prepared to accommodate all of my requests, to learning how to play our song live for our first dance, Dalton made sure every detail of our wedding day that he could assist with went smoothly on our special day. I was told going into planning my wedding that the DJ is the most important vendor to hire because they can make or break the wedding experience, but because of the team's communication ahead of time, I went into our wedding day feeling confident that Dalton would do a great job. At our wedding, he inspired so much joy for us and our guests. From the moment he first saw my husband and called out his type of suite from across the courtyard to his genuine smile and interactions with each guest, Dalton was bringing such great energy to our wedding day and we could not be more thankful or have imagined a better DJ. It was such a privilege getting to work with the whole JR team, but especially Dalton. Thank you for helping to make our wedding magical! We will never forget Dalton being a wonderful part of our day!
