This is a great place. I just don't understand why we have to pay $10 to join in on the meditation and pay for parking. This keeps me from going when I can't afford to pay. The parking is metered, it's not affordable.

I've only been going regularly for a little while now, but the community, the intention, the practice - it's everything. I've practiced stoicism, been in major religions, dove into the world of desire - but being able to sit within your mind and make sense of a virtuous path with a teacher(s) who sees themselves in you. You find peace, happiness, and a purpose for being. For those who are seeking - the truth is within yourself, but we've forgot the path somewhere along the way. Come to a class on Tuesday (Foundation Practice), Thursday, Saturday or Sunday (big one). Something I learned the other day, "Compassion (true genuine, heartfelt equanimity) purifies the heart." And that made all the difference for me. Also, parking on the meters is the best way. It's like $2 for 2 hours. The Aquarium being next door brings tons of distractions - which is good! Life has it's distractions. Create stronger discipline within yourself, focus on the goal and the obstacles will not matter.
