The Bangkok style fried rice on their menu was served extremely salty. When asked to touch up on it or remake it, the waitress acted dumb and did not do anything about it. When the bill came she kept staring at the tipping screen and peer pressure you into tipping even when you had a terrible meal because of the sodium bomb that is their Bangkok style fried rice. I used to love this place when it was a food truck, because they made their food good and menu simple. Suffice it to say I’ll never come back again.

Best new Thai in Austin! So excited South Lamar now has this staple! Food is delicious and Sherry was very friendly, attentive, and fun as our server. There was a wait at the door but it was a Saturday night and just means the food is that good… and it WAS! THANK YOU! We will be back!

There’s a bunch of high reviews so maybe it was just an off day, but we did not have the same flavor experience that everyone is talking about. The rip and dip roti appetizer was stellar, but everything else was pretty average. In my group of 4, 3 of our main dishes were very ordinary. The street fried rice was not flavorful or tasty at all. It was fresh, but lacked any sort of flavor. It was filled with plain cooked spinach, very little protein, and was bland. The Lost Recipe dish was good, but again, nothing special. I had pretty high expectations for this, and might try again later but pretty average food. Service was great even though it was busy, food took a while to come out but nothing crazy.

I've had Thai before, this was different. Parking spaces are few.

This is the #1 Thai restaurant in central Texas. Nothing compares to Kiin Di. This is a real Thai restaurant run by real FOB Thais. The cuisine would be right at home in the type of Bangkok restaurant where High Society Thai's go for elevated cuisine. No need to recommend dishes. Everything is absolute FIRE.
