⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tiger’s Den is truly a hidden gem tucked inside White Tiger. Most people come for the bar, but the food here deserves just as much attention — if not more. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The dishes were rich yet perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best bites I’ve had in Austin in a long time. You can tell there’s real care and intention behind the food, not just the cocktails. It feels like you’ve discovered a secret dining experience hidden behind a cool, intimate bar — and suddenly you’re eating food that feels elevated and thoughtfully crafted. Every bite was delicious. If you’re at White Tiger, don’t skip the food at Tiger’s Den. This isn’t just a bar — it’s a full hidden culinary experience. Can’t wait to come back.
Great food, it's inside the White Tiger's Bar but different business.
I never write bad reviews, but this one was impossible to ignore. I came in around 12 AM (they’re open until 1 AM), just wanting some healthy munchies, and the whole order was a letdown. I ordered edamame, miso soup, and two mango sticky rices for me and my girlfriend. First, the mango sticky rice was overcooked and dry—some pieces were even crispy from being burnt. The miso soup was cold, which was such a disappointment. And the edamame? Some pieces were nicely charred, but a lot of them were over-charred and burnt, to the point where the skin would flake off in my mouth. Super unpleasant. It just feels like they don’t really prioritize quality across all their menu items, which is frustrating—especially when I paid $25 and still tipped. Definitely hoping for a better experience next time, but this visit really missed the mark.
A bar with a ballin restaurant attached. I was a bit confused by the website, but the food looked amazing so I had to see what was up. The bar and restaurant are separate businesses. The bartender was great and I got a drink while I ordered food. You can eat in or take to-go. There is an outdoor patio as well that's dog friendly. I got a drink, crab rangoon and fried rice. Ended up taking half the food home because it was a good size portion. The crab rangoon was Amazing. The rice was good too, but the rangoon stole the show. Great spot with friendly staff.
We wanted to try this newer restaurant due to the promise of Asian style bar food and wasn’t disappointed! We went on a Wednesday evening as a sort of happy hour like dinner and there was live music - she did a great job! Crab Rangoon and fried rice…definitely a MUST. We got the meat sweats fried rice and was some of the best I’ve had! General Tsos was ok, as were the Dr Pepper wings. The miso soup was good, as were the little fried things with the lemony aioli. I did not like the duck dumplings at all (and I love duck and dumplings). My partner still enjoyed them. Also, we had a lot of leftovers! Which isn’t a bad thing haha! Good portion sizes overall. We will definitely be back!
