Brennan helped both my fiance and I at Kubes!! She is amazing. We did 2 custom pieces, one was a cross chain necklace and she helped me select and price each piece so it was exactly what I was looking for. The other was my engagement ring, which I had no idea about. Because I had worked with Brennan in the past she already knew my style and was able to guide my fiance to create my perfect ring without me knowing a thing!! He had a great time with the whole process and was super happy with getting to choose each piece to make it very personalized.
If my husband and I are looking for jewelry, we go to Kubes. You can’t beat their staff and we personally work with Brent Kubes each time we go. Brent is always so accommodating and in a great mood. You can tell he is passionate about his business, his customers, and jewelry in general. We will never go anywhere else and it’s becoming a family tradition to use Kubes!
I had a disappointing experience at Kubes Jewelers and originally left a 1-star review about it. Brent Kubes responded publicly with a very thoughtful and genuine message, so I decided to reach out personally and follow up. We exchanged messages back and forth, and I was truly impressed by how sincerely he handled the situation. Brent and his family took my feedback to heart, and let me know they are considering potential policy changes to better serve their current and future customers. It’s rare to see human beings respond with that level of humility, professionalism, and genuine care for their clients nowadays. (Upgraded to 4 stars) - While my initial experience was frustrating and disappointing, their response and willingness to improve has restored my trust. I’m very thankful for the way they addressed the situation and for how much care they put into their responses and reputation. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.
From my experience, do not sell your jewelry here. Over the phone they represented as if they pay 85% of spot. When I took my jewelry to Kube's they offered $2,315. I took it to another gold buyer the same day and they bought it for $2,705, this second place pays 80%. A significant difference. Also, the appraiser hid behind a big mirror and wouldn't talk to me personally, just a bulk price offered for everything, unlike every other place I've sold jewelry where I can talk to the buyer and get prices on individual pieces. Frankly just a weird vibe here and I'll never return. Trying to sell at this place was a huge waste of time.
Great Service! I purchased a vintage Hamilton watch years ago and ever since it has been erratically keeping time. I have been looking for a jeweler with a master watchmaker on and off for the past 5 years to get it repaired, with no success. Most of the jewelers I called told me it wasn't worth my time to repair my watch since it was vintage. I gave Kubes a call, and the gentleman answered the phone said that the person who started the business was a master watchmaker and would have no issues repairing the watch. I dropped the watch off for a quote, and to repair the balancing rod, clean, and polish the entire watch was only $300. Considering the watch looks absolutely brand new, this service was well worth the money, I expected to pay exponentially more to get this watch repaired. I definitely recommend doing business with Kubes, they will give you an honest appraisal of your jewelry and any modifications you would like to make (What I mean by this is that if you've got costume jewelry and you want to modify it with expensive 14+ karat gold, they will actually let you know that that it may not be worth your money and you should go with something more affordable like stainless steel, they are extremely reputable). I wish I had some before pictures of my watch, but I will be posting the after pictures.
