I really can’t recommend this place enough. Set was fantastic from start to finish; it felt like he genuinely cared about our experience and he was absolutely lovely to work with. His prices were also extremely fair. If you’re looking for an engagement ring, I honestly think Set is the best you’ll find. After a very disappointing and disillusioning experience with Brilliant Earth (where they tried to upsell us at every turn and didn’t follow through on the services they promised), Set was a breath of fresh air with how transparent and genuine he was. We came to him with a highly specific, complicated dream ring in mind; we had been searching both online and in person for months, and had only been able to find one or two specific artists across the country that were reputable and could get in the ballpark of what we wanted. Set’s design team helped us go from an assortment of inspiration images to a ring that looked exactly like we hoped. He uses high-tech ring molding techniques and is able to achieve intricate custom shapes. I even came in with a gemstone that I was determined would be the centerpiece for my ring— other jewelers had refused to work with a stone that was not sourced through them, but Set was happy to use my stone. My partner had a very specific and rare color of diamond she wanted, and Set ordered several batches of stones until he found one that was perfect. All of this for a price that ended up being cheaper than what Brilliant Earth had quoted us! When I came to him a few weeks after receiving my ring because it ended up being too big, he resized it at no charge, even though he had made it exactly the size we agreed on (my fingers are just smaller than I thought!) Overall, we just had a really great experience and we’re so glad we stumbled across this place randomly.
We had an absolutely lovely time working with Set on our engagement rings, and they ended up perfect. He's able to do some very detailed work that we thought we'd only be able to get from select artisans online and were so happy to have stumbled on him locally! On top of such nice rings, he was so nice to work with and everything felt extremely transparent and fair. We'll definitely be going back for our wedding rings.
Coming to La Bijouterie was a healing experience, to say the least. We came to Set for a new beginning after a traumatic incident regarding our original ring. Last year, we had originally gone to our family jeweler (in LA) of 20 years to reset our ring for our 20th anniversary. He basically disappeared with our diamond, cash, and our trust. We were heartbroken over the 20 years of memories that were stolen from us, and my kind husband was so upset but he decided to save up for another diamond and surprised me with the option to reset our ring again. This time we did our research and found Set, who listened to our story and he treated us so kindly and compassionately. After just a few short weeks, we had designed the ring I had been dreaming of. When I went to see it for the first time I expected to have a few edits or corrections, but it was literally PERFECT. I had NOTHING I wanted to change and it was EXACTLY everything I wanted and more. Set himself was amazing to work with and he is so good at what he does (he always had a nonstop stream of clients every time we came in). I’m so so so happy we found Set and we are so glad he is now a part of our ring’s (and anniversary) story. I will be recommending Set to anyone and everyone.

My partner has been to Set for our engagement ring, multiple gifts, and resizing of other family heirlooms. There is no better jeweler. They are patient, kind, and super knowledgeable. It took a year to settle on the details for the engagement ring, and Set was right there all the way. We looked at multiple center stones, all of which were of exceptional quality, until we found the perfect color/size. My recent birthday gift was a delicate diamond necklace. My partner said Set had several options on hand for birthday gifts, and was super helpful in making the selections.
