My wife and I had a great experience at LA Fly Rides. Mike was very knowledgeable about all the specs on the bike we test rode. He was super patient with my wife even with her not knowing a lot about bikes. Hector knew everything on the mechanical and electrical components and Austen had some great suggestions for accessories. We love our new ebikes. Great shop I definitely recommend checking them out.
LA FLY RIDES is hands down the best E bike shop in Los Angeles! If you’re in the market looking for an high end top quality durable bicycle, this is the shop to go. I’ve purchased my Gazelle Ultimate T10+ High step 2022 in champion red and could not be any happier. With almost couple months of ownership and close to 10,000 miles these mid drive Bosch motors and batteries won’t fail you. These type of bikes are bulletproof, not only do you get what you paid for but also the excellent shop service and quality. They know their bikes here and you won’t regret your experience. Austen the shop manager explained everything from A to Z and was very nice, informative, and went well beyond his way to help me in every way possible. Also, Marvin the head mechanic always does an awesome job every time I take my bike in for maintenance he’s the best. Genuinely the most nicest down to earth guys, Thank you very much LA FLY RIDES you guys are awesome made this process very smooth and easy will definitely be back! Pleasure doing business with you.
Coming from a dirtbiking background, I bought my first Ebike, a 2021 Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 TM from Flyrides, back in April 2021. During that process, I spoke to a handful of reps there they were all very friendly and professional. I spoke to Austen in particular, several times and he was always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer and discuss my onslaughts of questions about sizing, geometry, suspension, motors, battery life, etc etc lol. I loved my Cube but after about 6 months and a strange Chihuahua related incident, Flyrides helped me immensely, in upgrading me to a 2021 Specialized Turbo Kenevo Expert, at a steal of a deal, too! The Kenevo fits my riding style farrrr better and I'm very happy and grateful they were able to help me make the switch. A friend of mine spoke to Austen as well and when he recently rode rode my Kenevo, he decided to pull the trigger and bought one from them too. Enter DUALING KENEVOS!! 🤘🤠... They have a great selection of bikes, a friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff and have gone above and beyond, in my opinion to make their customers happy. Now, stop reading this and go buy an Ebike (or 2) from FLYRIDES!
Update: June 22, 2021: I bought my E-Mountain bike at LA Fly Rides back in December. I became obsessed with my bike and began riding every day. When I bought the bike, Austen helped me pick out the right one and helped me get financing so I could afford it. Hector then told me everything I needed to know about the bike. I live about 90 minutes away… so I figured I wouldn’t see these guys anytime soon. But then something happened to the motor of the bike (after owning it for about 5 months). I took it to a (different) shop (Not Flyrides) that was relatively close to my house (and is an authorized dealer / service center for my brand of bike). The other shop (not Flyrides) had my bike for almost 2 months while they tried to figure out what was wrong with it. They couldn’t figure it out, so they installed a new motor. I was hoping then it would be fixed and I could begin riding again. But that was not the case, and my bike was still broken with the motor not working. I then decided I should have brought it back to Flyrides (where I bought it from in the first place.) I reached out to Flyrides on a Saturday… they emailed me back the same day (on a Saturday, Thanks Marvin!!!!) and got me in 3 days later on Tuesday. It didn’t take Marvin very long to figure out what was wrong… it was not the motor… the other shop had cut a wire and once the wire was replaced (I think they also replaced the speed sensor, just to make sure everything was covered.) the bike then worked just like day one. I’m back on the hills baby!!!! Word of advice: If you want to buy an electric bike, go to Flyrides (in La or San Diego) and if something happens (stuff happens, you know) then just bring it back to them and they will fix it right up!!! They know the products they sell! Thanks Marvin! Thanks Austen! Thanks Hector! Thanks Flyrides. Also if you are thinking about getting an E-Bike get on their email list… They always have deals on different bikes and there are some good deals! I don’t read them much anymore, since I already got my bike :) First Review (Jan 2021): I bought a Bulls electric mountain bike from Austin. This guy new the product really well and helped me make the right choice and even gave me a free kickstand. I love my bike and these guys are awesome... Hector helped me when I picked up the bike and knew everything about it. He even helped me load it in my car. These electric mtn bikes are not cheap... But these guys had a good sale and I'm really glad I bought the bike with them.
LA Fly Rides is the best ! I bought a Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 from Fly Rides a few weeks ago and what a great bike. The bike is great but the service is even greater, Austen was very helpful, honest and easy to talk to, absolutely no pressure to buy a bike. I will highly recommend LA Fly Rides if you are looking to buy an E-Bike, there knowledge and experience with E Bikes is far better than most bike shops.
