Our family had a wonderful experience at L'Academy. Danni does an excellent job managing the center and maintaining clear, consistent communication with parents. Our daughter thrived under the care of experienced teachers like May, who supported her growth and development with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The facility is kept very clean and there are separate playgrounds for the younger and older kids. I highly recommend this daycare to other parents seeking quality care for their children.
L’Academy Hayes Valley is a perfect fit not just for our son but also our family. Our son has been attending L’Academy since he was 4 1/2 months old and he is now 2 1/2 years old. All the teachers have been so supportive given his developmental delays. They are genuinely caring and you could tell how much he loves it there. Relocating to Potrero Hill meant getting up earlier and longer commute, but he has bonded with all the teachers, we had to follow them! Thank you Danni and all the teachers - we consider you as part of our family!
Our daughter has been going to L’academy since she was 18 months. She’s now 4.5 and she’s thriving there. So much so we decided to keep her there until she goes to Kindergarten. She has Gina and Eric right now as her teachers and they are wonderful. They nurture her curiosity, work with her on developing her social skills and teach her English, math, Chinese and science and more. She likes to come home and tell us what she’s learned. In fact all the teachers at l’academy are amazing. They care for her as if she’s part of the family. The community at l’academy has been very helpful over the years, we’ve made many friends that have helped us navigate SF schools, general parenting and toddler tantrums. Her favorite things about school would include the amazing park, the kung fu lessons and chicken fried rice (homemade). We couldn’t have asked for a better preschool experience. Danni is the school director and she has always been so supportive and helpful in guiding the kids and incredibly hands on. We would 100% recommend L’academy.
We have been enrolled at L'Academy Hayes Valley since May 2024. We have been so happy with Danni's leadership role as director. She is so communicative, responsive, and caring. The staff is very supportive and nurturing, providing my son a safe place that he loves. The quality of care from hot breakfast, lunch, and snack, to kung fu classes, and the large classroom spaces is top tier. My son has a language delay, which he has been able to overcome with the help of his teachers, while also learning mandarin. We love the holiday shows where the kids get to showcase their personalities, and put on a performance. There is much effort to build a strong community with monthly family socials. Danni and staff put so much care into the cleanliness, upkeep, and structured program of this facility. We look forward to many more years to grow together.

I wish I could give more than 5-stars! ⭐️ If you’re looking for excellent child care for your busy schedule or a safe place for your child, L’Academy-SF Potrero Hill is the one and only stop in SF! We transferred our 2 year old from a different campus and we are so happy that we did. At Hayes Valley, our daughter has received a great support for her needs, high level care and love. In addition to supporting her mandarin vocabulary and high energy, she looks forward to going to daycare everyday. All thanks to the wonderful environment and its staff offers. When she has a day off, she is constantly asking to return to “school” to be with her teachers and friends. She is learning much more mandarin than at the previous campus and in just one month she can count to 10 in mandarin amongst other things. Danni is one amazing director. All of the children in her care , know and love her. We can count on Danni to be present, smiling and checking on everyone. She is always available to answer our questions and makes it her duty to know all of the families and consistently provides updates on our daughter. She sends out monthly newsletters about things happening in the center and encourages family time and parent networking. She has created such a family-oriented child care with a home-like feeling and welcoming environment. The teachers are like a dream come true. We are in the sunflower class and I don’t ever worry about my daughter. In fact my newborn has enrolled because I feel so safe with all the staff. Teacher Carrie and Teacher Huiling are well versed in child development and do a great job at meeting the individual needs of each child in their classroom. It is obvious that Danni treats her staff well, they are genuinely happy everyday and look well pleased with their employment. As parents, we believe it is important for staff to feel appreciated at work, to be able to focus on the children they spend so much time with. Thank you Danni and all teachers!
