Little Mission Studio is a premier music school and event venue in San Francisco's vibrant Mission District. We offer private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, violin, and more for all ages and skill levels, taught by dedicated, experienced instructors. Our supportive community includes studio classes, recitals, and performance opportunities that foster growth and confidence. We also provide a beautifully appointed Main Hall with excellent acoustics for recitals, concerts, and private events. With a focus on personalized instruction and a welcoming atmosphere, we help students and musicians thrive.

We rented the Main Hall for a private recital and it was great. Christian answered all of our questions ahead of time, and went above and beyond on the day of to make sure our event went smoothly. Parking outside was easy; the acoustics were incredible and the overall ambience was great. We appreciated the opportunity to use one of the practice rooms for warm-up. Shoutout to Christian again and highly recommend LMS to those who are considering to host their own music events.
Great teachers and place but terrible make up policy. They grant a make up within 7 days for "emergencies" but the make ups are not available. So unless you've planned your emergency at the beginning of the month, good luck scheduling a make up. Oh, and if the teacher happens to be out during the make up window that's your problem.
Our son has been taking piano lessons for almost 5 years at LMS. They are organized, responsive, and such a caring community! The studio classes let the students play for each other without the pressure of having their parents there. We get an email weekly summarizing what our kid needs to work on and what pages in each book has assignments. I highly recommend them!
The Little Mission Studio is a well organized, supportive environment for my children to love learning how to play the guitar and violin. I highly recommend LMS if your child is interested in music.
I’ve been singing for 25 years. I started in choir from age 5-18, and just started my private voice lessons with Rebecca at Little Mission Studio. My experience so far has been incredible! On day 1 I received helpful feedback and homework to improve parts of my voice that I’ve always wanted to work on but didn’t know how to on my own, felt instantly comfortable with Rebecca, and left the lesson feeling inspired, creative, and confident in myself and my decision to join this studio. Even though it’s private lessons, I look forward to the community aspect this studio brings by attending the studio wide sessions where we get to perform what we’re working on and give feedback to other studio members to help our creative process expand and flourish, as well as the recitals where we can invite friends and family and perform for them what we’ve all been working on! If you’re seeking quality and fun private lessons with a community of other musicians and creatives, Little Mission Studio is the place for you!
