Lake Austin Spa Resort is a beautiful and serene venue for proposals planned by my company, Amore Austin. Kristen, Denis, and the entire team are always a pleasure to work with before and on proposal day. The property is luxurious and tranquil, with the dock offering a stunning backdrop, and the on-site restaurant is perfect for clients to begin celebrating right away. We truly value our partnership with Lake Austin Spa Resort and look forward to many more magical proposals together.

I visit Lake Austin Spa three to four times a year and always expect exceptional service, but today’s experience truly went above and beyond. I had a spa treatment with Ashley followed by a second service with Celia, and both are true talents at their craft. They were professional, warm, and delivered outstanding service that made the entire experience incredibly relaxing and memorable. A few hours after I left, I realized I had accidentally left my gold bracelet in my robe. The bracelet is very sentimental to me, as it once belonged to my grandmother, and I honestly assumed I would never see it again. I called the front desk, and Shelonda immediately took action, quickly coordinating with the staff to help locate it. Just minutes later, they called me back to let me know it had been found. This level of care, responsiveness, and genuine kindness is what sets Lake Austin Spa apart. I’m so grateful to the entire team for not only an amazing spa day, but also for treating my situation with such urgency and compassion. I can’t recommend this spa highly enough.

What a joy to return again to Lake Austin. There is so much history here and a unique “sense of place.” It is a perfect place to escape by yourself, with friends or a loved one. I can stay busy all day going from activity or class, to gym, water sports, or hammock lounging. Special thanks to Drew and Kara in Water Sports for all the fun on the water. Chef Limon’ went above and beyond with every meal request. Renee’ in the Boutique was super helpful and sweet. Jackie remembered me from a couple years ago. The hiking guides were the best! The employees really have a heart for the guests.

This place is an absolute gem! With only about 40 rooms, it feels intimate, charming, and wonderfully secluded—like your own private getaway. The food was incredible, but the true standout was the staff. My husband became sick during our stay, and every single team member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. By the end of the trip, I knew all of them by name. It’s a great place for a babymoon!

Lake Austin Spa Resort is by far one of my favorite spas in the world. The resort somehow makes you feel at home no matter where you go on the campus. Everytime I have visited I have made new friends and wanted to hang out with the staff. The water front is both picturesk but also a great place to be active. There are so many fantastic places through out for reading, relaxing, catching your breath, etc. The activities and classes availalbe keep you engaged the entire time and you feel welcome no matter what the activity is or whether you are an expert or a first timer. On my last trip there I took a kayak trip, hiked, relaxed at the pool, learned mahjong, bird watched, went to yoga, made collages and spent a day at the spa. The rooms are beautiful and clean to the point that I hung on in my room for 1/2 a day. The food was spectacular with so many choices and options. Lastly, the absolute best part of Lake Austin Spa Resort is the staff. They make you feel included and like friends. You never feel like you are bothering them, everyone takes the time to talk to you and say hi. They make sure you find you things to do. Leaving them was the hardest part. I will be back again very soon, this is a must do at least once a year.
