To be completely honest, my trip to Laura Bond was a bit of a disappointing experience. I was looking forward to visiting after having seen it on social media. However, when I arrived, the staff were serving other customers, which was sort of fair enough, although they didn’t make an attempt to serve more than one person at a time and certainly were in no hurry. Once I was served, I bought a helix ring. I asked to have it fitted, for which I was told that I would have to wait an hour (in the end, I wasn’t sure why- I thought that maybe it was because they wanted to sterilise the earring, but they didn’t do that, so I think it could’ve just been fitted in the seating area). Whilst I was waiting, I remembered that I had a store credit for having created an account with Laura Bond (obviously my fault for having forgotten whilst paying for the earring). When I returned to the store for the fitting, I asked whether that credit could be taken off my earring fitting fee, and was told not. Overall, I spent what I consider to be rather a lot of money and did not have the experience to go along with it that I would have expected. I would add that the person that fitted the earring was very nice, but I don’t think that I’ll be returning. Edit: this review, originally reported to Trustpilot, was seemingly reported to them and removed, presumably because it wasn’t particularly positive (although surely fair). I also don’t think that this reflects well on the company; I had initially given three stars, now reduced to two!

My friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a nose piercing after years of thinking about it, but hadn’t quite plucked up the courage to go do it. The staff were warm and welcoming as soon as we walked into the shop and really put us at ease. The shop is beautiful and the girls were just fabulous. Danielle done our piercings, she explained everything and was really patient and we felt very relaxed and unrushed. Loved the choice of jewellery available and we are both delighted with the results.

I've had two appointments with Amber in the past three weeks, for second lobes on both sides. Amber was very patient and skilled in her placement. I'm delighted with the results. I chose white gold wish stud (left) and white gold glimmer stud (right). Delighted with the results.
