Apple recommended that I file a consumer complaint with the Attorney General. Anyway, your response below is enough. Was that supposed to be a factory reset? It wasn’t — the phone couldn’t even turn on. You should know what it means when an IMEI is ruined. And if you were so “right,” then why did you immediately give me back the $38 the moment the police walked in? Is the police station your family’s business? Do you get to decide everything there? First, you were the one who made my phone completely stop working the first time and still tried to charge me. Second, you never apologized or offered any compensation — instead, you threatened me. Third, the police only helped me get back the $38 repair fee, but that was not the compensation I was discussing with you. I just want you to know that I’m going to report you, take legal action, and follow through until the proper authorities give me justice.

I took my iPhone to his shop to update the system. He said he needed to restore it, but he didn’t back it up or even ask me if I wanted a backup. My data was gone, fine, I still paid him $38. But when I got home, I found my iPhone was completely bricked — it wouldn’t even turn on. In the end, I had to go to the Apple Store and spent $549 to fix it. He said I should accept it because I signed a contract I asked him to refund the repair fee. I didn’t even ask him to compensate me. But just for the $38, he threatened me because he didn’t want to refund it. In the end, the police helped me get the $38 back. But I spent $549to fix the phone. His shop should just shut down. I will be contacting the Attorney General to file a consumer complaint.
