Excellent club. Great instructors, trainers, hospitality staff, food service staff are all top notch. Club is smaller and usually less busy. Good variety of classes and recovery area. Red light beds, infrared sauna, steam rooms men and women separate. Large lap pool and co ed spa whirlpool. Miora is great. Steve F is the BEST! Alex, Fiona, Chloe, Sydney, Brent, Bruno, Nina and all the janitorial staff is exceptional. Good selection of equipment. Locker rooms and club is always clean and smells good. The people at the cafe are ALWAYS friendly and the food is good.

Great club but REMOVED basketball courts! This was the main reason I and a lot of other people would show up consistently and it always had great pickup and community. Removing this feels like they didn’t care or know about the best feature this gym had. Management seems out of touch and/or doesn’t care. Disappointing, going elsewhere that actually has a court.

Lifetime Fitness Downtown has a great facility with plenty of space and equipment, and it’s very well-maintained. The only major downside is parking—street parking is expensive (around $10 if you stay three hours) and sometimes hard to find. The parking situation is really inconvenient, which makes me prefer other locations like St. Louis Park. Overall, the gym itself is excellent, but parking is a serious challenge.

I truly cannot say enough great things about this gym. From the moment you step through the doors, the front desk team greets you with friendliness that immediately makes you feel at home. The entire facility is spotless, from the locker rooms to the well-maintained workout equipment. It's evident that the staff take pride in keeping everything in shape. I often see team members actively cleaning and organizing, and those efforts do not go unnoticed. The variety of classes is fantastic, and the club hosts fun events that foster a real sense of community. General Manager Brian runs the gym with professionalism and efficiency, creating an environment where both staff and members thrive. The café is a treat in itself, offering a range of fresh, healthy, and tasty food and drink options. What truly sets this location apart is the people. The staff here are AMAZING, and they create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for everyone. A special shoutout to Chloe, Cain, and Logan for going above and beyond to make every member feel valued and supported. I strongly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a clean, well-run, and friendly fitness community.

What a difference from my main Life Time location (Woodbury). This place is HUGE! Decpite the fact that I did not feel as welcomed at first (very unlike of all my other experiences at Life Time at the other locations) things turned out great. As I entered, I decided to snap a few pictures (like I normally do for my reviews) and one of the check-in staff (bald dude) came at me all hot asking if I needed help and why I was taking pictures (not in a nice tone or lightly curious way). It was definitely not a pleasant interaction, but I kept it polite and we moved on our separate way. The rest of the staff interactions I had were great, everyone seemed really friendly (like the Life Time I know and love). They have some sweet equipment. Asside from the traditional machines, ect. I have seen at the othet Gyms, they have some sweet TechnoGym machines (I didn't try them, but looked like something I would enjoy). I spent most of my time in one of the Alpha rooms (Leg day). Shortly into my workout, Steven Adams and Santi Aldama from the Grizzlies team came into the room with their trainer and started working out in the squat racks next to me. I suppose being right by the Timberwolves area, it made sense. Had a great leg day though. I work downtown, in the skyway system, so I will definitely be getting a workout here on the rare occasions that I go into the office.
