I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Preston and Lonestar Gym Builders. This experience meant so much to us. The A/C unit in my classroom was going out and I was stressed out trying to figure out how to get a new unit and when to get it installed! As a teacher, my schedule is incredibly tight, and I needed this new A/C installed while my classroom was closed during Spring Break. Preston didn’t just accommodate us, he went out of his way to make it happen, easing so much stress during an already stressful situation. Preston was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. He worked quickly and efficiently, and everything turned out perfectly, but what touched me and my husband the most was his generosity. The fact that he volunteered his time speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. This level of kindness is rare, and it did not go unnoticed. Lone Star Gym Builders came out and built my Fringe Sport Dane 2.0 rack, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. Preston and his team were professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They had the entire rack assembled in just a couple of hours, and the final result looks rock-solid and flawless. The setup came together perfectly, everything was dialed in, and they left the space clean and ready to train. If you’re investing in quality gym equipment, having it installed correctly matters — and these guys absolutely deliver. I had a great experience overall with Lonestar Gym. While there were a few hiccups along the way, what really stood out to me was their communication and professionalism. Anytime a question or concern came up, they were quick to respond and transparent about timelines and expectations. The team was respectful, efficient, and clearly cared about getting things right. The minor issues we ran into were addressed quickly, and that gave me a lot of confidence in their commitment to customer service. For that reason, I’m giving this a strong 4.5 to 5 stars — not because it was perfect, but because they made sure it ended well. Definitely recommend them. One tip I’d give future customers: spend extra time during the consultation phase really describing your vision. These guys will get it right — but they don’t know what they don’t know. The more detail you give them, the better the outcome. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they executed everything from lighting to flooring once I shared exactly what I had in mind.

I have worked with the Lonestar Gym Builders team twice and both times have been amazing. The first time was just building a platform for my power rack. The second time was finishing my garage gym with more mats, a mirror, and a storage rack on the wall. Their team is absolutely incredible and the quality of their work is second-to-none. I recommend them to anyone considering building a home gym. You can either do everything yourself or you can have Lonestar Gym Builders take your vision and make it a reality.
