This place charges high end New York Italian prices but has the food quality of a bodega deli. As a New Yorker, we love our bodega delis but also expect bodega prices then. We ordered the rigatoni and the penne, the latter of which was ~$28 (shocking for a penne pasta with no meat!), and tasted worse than something I could have made at home. The sauce was also watery and felt like you were drinking a pasta soup. The bruschetta was the only highlight- crunchy bread and tasty. We also had a chicken salad- it tasted like somebody had thrown 4 things together and presented it. There was no “flavor” or seasoning- just some chicken scraps thrown in with a few vegetables. The chicken was well cooked but again, there was no taste to the whole thing. The place was sorely disappointing for the high end prices, to say the least. The service was equally mid, the server didn’t even bring any water until we had to ask her, and seemed generally uninterested. The ambiance was alright- it’s a bit of a weird sports bar + dine in vibe- which is totally fine but cannot support such high end restaurant prices for the deli food quality.

Such a great experience. The food was fantastic and Mac was a great server. Seriously if you can request his section do it. Cocktails were fantastic, we had two each. Highly recommend
