Real Italian comfort food. I can tell that the owner put lots of care and passion into their product from the quality of the food I received. For example, I could tell the bread for the sub was freshly baked. You will definitely get bang for buck here. I only got two menu items and I think this will last me a few meals. I am so happy to have another local restaurant open in downtown JC!

Such a great spot. I’ve tried their incredible soup, which for a quart is a huge value. Plus you get a loaf of bread. I’ve also tried their pastas and eggplant. Both of which also come with the homemade bread. The owner is super helpful, and very friendly. When pondering what I wanted to eat, he’d offer samples. He’s confident in his cooking, and he should be - it’s all very delicious. A great find!

My fiancé and I finally tried the Sicilian Guy after always passing it on Newark and OMG the food is unreal! We got the cold chicken cutlet sandwich for lunch and then the stuffed peppers and lasagne for dinner. Everything was incredible and the sauce had so much flavor! We ended up going back a couple days later to try their hot sandwiches, splitting the meatball parm and sausage and peppers. Again, everything was absolutely incredible! The owner was so kind and let us try some of the ziti he just made. We will definitely be back to try the kick ass soup 😄

the food was divine and the service was top notch. I called ahead to see if they had space for us and they were so accommodating. I got the half chicken and half meatball sandwich and a sicilian pistachio cannoli. 10/10 recommend

Finally getting a true Italian staple in the neighborhood is very exciting, but a SICILIAN specialized spot makes an Italian-American kid’s dream come true. I got the Baked Ziti and the Focaccia-Family Sunday sauce is a sacred thing, I would bring my mom here. Absolutely delicious.
